What is done in love is done well.

It is good to love many things, for therein lies the true strength, and whosoever loves much performs much,and can accomplish much, and what is done in love is done well.

                                               

Vincent Van Gogh was known to be an artist who lived a majority of his life in solitude. He was known for using vibrant colors and great dealings of his everyday life onto the canvas. Some of us also know him as a symbol of sadness and a tortured artists archetype. He took his own life at the age of 37. His mental state was said to be much more than just chronic depression. According to some psychologists who studied his life he is likely to have suffered from multiple illnesses such as schizophrenia , maniac depression, autism and much more. 

He painted his artwork titled as 'The Starry Night' while in an asylum. It depicted Vincent's view from the asylum. It is considered to be one of the best while he had considered it to be a failure just as the rest of his works. 

His painting of Dr. Gachet ( the doctor who took care of Vincent during the last few months of his life) was sold for $82.5M . During his artistic career which lasted only a decade, he made approximately 2100 pieces of art. Out of which , he only sold a single painting during his lifetime even that was purchased by his fellow artist and friend. He remained an unknown artist throughout his entire artistic career and his work became famous when he died. 

Van Gogh didn't put pencil or paint to paper until the age of 27. This can be an example to all those individuals who think it's too late to follow their passion or pursue their dreams. 

Well, if we see his life, there was nothing that could stop from doing what he loved be that his financial status, his mental health or any of those failures he faced. He once said,

If you hear a voice within you that says 'you cannot paint';

then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced.

 During those 10 years of his life, he didn't ever stop no matter what the circumstances were. It didn't matter to him if he never sold a painting when he was alive, he knew he loved what he was doing and that was all that mattered. He taught people to live their life leaving all the insecurities behind. Because,
